Difeo Construction & Property Management began with a simple mission: to build and care for homes with the same integrity and attention we would give our own.
Founded in 2000 by John Difeo Sr., the company got its start in Hampton, New Hampshire. Working on the Seacoast for well over a decade, John gained valuable experience in every facet of construction, from new builds and additions to detailed remodels. Over time, his dedication to thoughtful craftsmanship and creative problem-solving shaped him into the professional builder and general contractor he is today.
In 2017, John moved to the White Mountains where he would continue to grow the business.
The Difeo name quickly became a familiar one throughout Mount Washington Valley—known for quality, dependability and strong ties to the local community. The business has also expanded its offerings to include full-service property management.
In recent years, John’s son, John Jr., joined the business and began learning the trade from the ground up, stepping into an increasingly active role in both construction and property management. With a shared work ethic and commitment to quality, the father-son team now tackles projects side by side, continuing to build homes—and lasting relationships—across the region.

With over 25 years of experience in the construction industry, John brings a deep understanding and passion for craftsmanship to every project. A lifelong entrepreneur, his mission is to build high-quality, sustainable homes in New Hampshire’s White Mountains region.
In addition to his work in construction, John proudly serves as a member of the Bartlett Fire Department and remains committed to giving back to the community he calls home.

John Jr. has spent the past decade working alongside his father on a range of construction projects, gradually developing his skills from hands-on labor to advanced carpentry. Now along with his father, he is overseeing projects as a profound project manager taking on any project that comes his way with delicacy and precision.
Like his father, John Jr. serves with the Bartlett Fire Department and is actively furthering his education and training in firefighting.
Office Manager & Executive Assistant
Chloe Sanders
Chloe supports project planning and organization at DCPM while managing a range of administrative tasks. Her extensive background in customer service and natural creativity enhances the team’s organization, communication and overall workflow. Outside of work, she enjoys painting, crocheting, hiking and spending time with loved ones.
Master Carpenter
Jeremy Gordon
Jeremy has 20+ years of experience in the trade. From framing to finish and custom home building/renovations, he is known for his exceptional craftsmanship. The community of the White Mountain Valley is lucky to have him working on the homes within.
Apprentice Carpenter
Noah Sanders
Noah is an apprentice carpenter at DCPM. He brings a background in trim carpentry and natural resource management, with a particular passion for framing homes. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking and fly fishing.
Property Maintenance Manager/Carpenter
Scot Marshall
Scot has a lifetime of experience working trades locally throughout the New Hampshire area. His broad skill set and versatility makes him a true jack of all trades.
Apprentice Carpenter
Brandon Ogden
Brandon has been with our team since 2023. As an apprentice carpenter he has a background in framing and finished carpentry. Brandon also has a history of natural resource management and forest firefighting in various states across the US.
Laborer/Apprentice Carpenter
Nash Harrigan
Nash has been with the team since 2021, starting out in his second year of high school working the summer seasons. Nash has gained experience and knowledge in the trade and is a highly valued member of the team. Now in college, Nash is pursuing his degree in construction management.
We had the pleasure of working with John Sr. and John Jr. from Difeo Construction and Property Management after a large tree fell on our house, causing significant damage. From day one, both Johns were incredibly professional, responsive, and easy to work with. Throughout the project, communication was thorough, the crew was respectful, and the workmanship was top-notch. We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out.
The quality of their work speaks for itself. They not only repaired and replaced the damaged roof and rebuilt the entire front deck, but we also took the opportunity to upgrade everything. The new composite deck looks amazing and now includes aluminum railings, integrated lighting, Trex dry deck system and a beautiful under-deck porch.
